Models For A Day
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words “a business photoshoot”?
Maybe strict business attire, stiff poses and respectable representatives of the company with a serious look on their faces or maybe employees in the middle of a meeting figuring out how to take over the world.
This photos will surely show how big and important the company is. But is that the most important thing for one company and is that the impact it wants to have on its employees – to be strict, stiff and serious. The workplace is one of the most important environments in a person’s life as we spend the majority of our time there. Then shouldn’t it make us feel comfortable and make us smile?
This Monday, in the beginning of our photoshoot we were trying our best to look “professional” by putting on a serious face but soon we realized that this is not like us and we did what we do best – smile.
And after a few shots of the camera and some encouragement from our photographer we finally got the courage to show how we really feel
We learned that:
• happiness isn’t unprofessional,
• that we can make goofy faces if we felt like it
• we could all fit on the couch if we really, really tried.
The most important lesson was that even though we didn’t have a plan as long as we were working together as a team and were supporting each other, as long as we could make each other smile even in the hard tasks, everything would work out in the end.
So the most significant message to keep in mind in the business world is to always look for the bright side and smile because after all – we are HUMANS not just resources.
Special thanks to our amazing photographer Atanas Kitanov ( http://atanaskitanov.com/ ) for creating such a fun atmosphere and making us laugh even when we tried so hard to be serious.
